We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in cost accounting to join the Cost Accounting team based in Singapore.
Perform monthly financial closing (ex. preparing cost accounting journal entries) and monthly reconciliation of inventory to the general ledger;
Assist in the quarterly inventory standard cost updating;
Review potential obsolete and excess inventory and calculate the necessary reserves for management’s review;
Review and analyze manufacturing variances (ex. yield variance, purchase price variance, etc.);
Assist in Operations' budgeting/forecasting relating to inventory cost and manufacturing expenses;
Responsible for the preparation of inventory-related reports;
Support Operations and Finance projects as they arise;
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent degree with a sound understanding of inventory accounting principles;
At least 3 years of solid cost accounting working experience, preferrably in the semiconductor industry
Excellent analytical and communication skills;
Keen attention to details;
Good interpersonal skills to effectively work with various stakeholders;
Strong background in cost systems (ex. MES) preferred;
Knowledgeable in Oracle ERP is preferred;
Advanced skills in MS Excel. Advanced skills in MS Access (with VBA programming) is an advantage;
