Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned leader to drive the Product Management and Marketing team within the CPG Product & Platform Marketing organization.    

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who will play a critical role in driving the go to market strategy and success of new Xilinx products and will possess unwavering market, customer and field focus.  The candidate is expected to have a true passion for and deep understanding of FPGAs and Adaptive SoCs and the technical aspects around each. This individual must possess the critical thinking ability to solve both strategic and tactical challenges and will play a critical role in driving customer adoption of new products, launching new products, improving product roadmaps, providing product messaging,  positioning and education, and enabling overall sales force scalability.

Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the Product Management & Marketing team which is responsible for taking to market all of Xilinx’s new FPGAs and Adaptive SoCs, Kria System On Modules (SOMs), evaluation boards and for driving all associated outbound product launches, product messaging, positioning and collateral development.  This scope requires interfacing with many different engineering and operations stakeholders from an inbound perspective and working directly with BU marketing teams, Business Operations, Corporate Marketing, as well as directly with Xilinx customers and sales teams worldwide from an outbound perspective.  This individual possesses unwavering customer focus, critical thinking capabilities, and excellent communication skills both written and oral.  Sound business acumen and judgment and the ability to work as part of a high performance team in a fast paced environment with multiple cross-functional teams are critical for success. This position will include some travel for customer/field interaction and team management.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • In depth understanding of FPGA’s, SoCs and their market applications
  • Experience leading a product management and/or product marketing team at a major semiconductor company  
  • 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience in product marketing and/or product management with a proven track record including driving product launches and campaigns
  • Experience working directly with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing or Customer Application teams

Ways to stand out:

  • Master’s degree in technical discipline or MBA is a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrate customer empathy and experience in identification of customer needs as well as an in depth understanding of customer use cases for FPGA’s and Adaptive SoCs 
  • In depth knowledge of CPUs and GPUs is an asset
