Vitis SoC Platform Development team is looking for a talented, self-driven and motivated SoC designer. Vitis is Xilinx’s primary tool for enabling next 5x increase in customer base. It is built to accelerate the design and development on Xilinx’s industry leading ACAP and FPGA architecture. The individual will focus on building ready to use HW platforms which are the foundation for customers to integrate their custom logic and get quick turnaround in solutions.
As a member of this high-performance team, the selected candidate will be responsible for building Vitis Platforms. These are extensible hardware design build on Xilinx devices. The position entails building SoC platforms from a library from available IP components like CPU, DMA, memory controller, PCIe etc. and assembling them into a customized SoC. The candidate will have opportunity to architect SoC systems and getting the design working in both simulation and on target development boards, enable hooks for debug and profiling, work through complex integration requirement and get them ready to release. These platforms enable many software developers to build additional application and accelerators and integrate them easily thus exercising the power of Xilinx programmable devices.
The team provides a fast-paced, start-up like environment offering each individual immense opportunity to interact with a wide variety of people including from other organizations, and truly learn and grow their skills and capabilities. The candidate will have opportunity to interact with Xilinx field engineers and marketing team to understand variety of customer scenario, and propose solutions. The candidate will have opportunity to interact closely with the SDx compiler, debugger and tool chain development team.
