As Business Manager you will be a key member of the Wired and Wireless Group (WWG) Sales Strategy & Business Management team. An ideal candidate for this role will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who has a strong bias for action and operational excellence mindset.

The position requires a track record of successful cross functional collaboration, driving business objectives and ability to communicate very effectively at all levels of the company with very strong technical background, ideally in telecommunications industry, who wants to be on the cutting edge of technology proactively driving strategic business initiatives in Wired & Wireless Business Unit. You will play a highly visible role within the WWG group supporting all major telecommunications customers globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and globally co-ordinate cross functional WWG Sales, Marketing & Engineering Tiger Teams
  • Drive and co-ordinate Competitive analysis in WWG Sales with close collaboration with Marketing
  • Drive strategic product initiatives in WWG Sales with close collaboration with Marketing
  • Drive customer, market and product prioritization in WWG Sales leveraging analytics and driving corrective actions
  • Co-ordinate value propositions in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Engineering teams
  • Quarterly Executive level report outs
  • Develop relationships with and become trusted advisor to WWG Sales, Marketing & Engineering leaderships

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong team player with “can do” action-oriented attitude 
  • Cross functional collaboration skills to develop and foster strong relationships within Sales, Marketing and Engineering Teams to mobilize and coordinate internal resources efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to summarize complex, detailed data to present to executive level staff
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of the semiconductor/telecommunications market
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and keep track of activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ability to implement analytical problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to identify a customer’s key care-abouts and thus contribute to overall sales strategy and success
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to keep learning

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the telecommunications market either wired or wireless
  • Experience in business management, technical sales or technical marketing
  • Knowledge of PLD’s is a strong asset

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience in Business Management, Sales, Marketing or Technical Marketing role
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of the semiconductor/telecommunications market
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance or another technical field

Location:

  • San Jose is preference although open to other locations for right candidate
