Xilinx delivers fully adaptive antenna technology 5G radio access networks to effectively address the growing demand for wireless capacity. Its platform enables mobile network infrastructure vendors to release the full potential of their RAN products through advanced features such as cell-splitting, 3D-beamforming, massive MIMO as well as RF power reduction. For the mobile network operator Xilinx technology enables dramatically increased site capacity, robustness, and availability as well as energy efficiency.

Responsibilities;

  • Laboratory Management

  • Assemble and test prototype active antenna units

  • Analyze defect active antenna units

  • Support purchasing of board components and local measurement equipment

Qualifications

Certified engineer or experienced skilled worker in the field of electrical engineering (at least 3 years)

Requirements

  • Very good hands-on experience especially soldering under microscope
  • Good planning and organizational skills for the electrical laboratory (tools & components)
  • Knowledge about prototype board manufacturing technologies and related material processes
  • Solid background in schematics reading and understanding of related board layouts is essential
  • Sound knowledge of electrical engineering basics, further experience in specific topics would be an asset
  • Easy use of measurement equipment
