As Business Manager you will be a key member of the Wired and Wireless Group (WWG) Sales Strategy & Business Management team. An ideal candidate for this role will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who has a strong bias for action, detail and process oriented with a very strong operational excellence mindset.

The position requires a track record of successful operational execution, cross functional collaboration, driving business objectives and ability to communicate very effectively at all levels of the company ideally in telecommunications industry, who wants to be on the cutting edge of technology proactively driving strategic business initiatives in WWG Sales team. You will play a highly visible role within the WWG group supporting all major telecommunications customers globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Forecasting for WWG providing deep customer and market insight & knowledge for WWG BU
  • Driving and managing WWG Monthly Operational Forecast Reviews with WWG Global teams
  • Driving and managing 5G & ORAN Triangulation within WWG Sales and Marketing
  • Driving and managing WWG Sales long range forecasts in collaboration with Marketing
  • Leveraging analytics and driving corrective actions
  • Partnering very closely with WWG Global Sales & leadership team
  • Partnering very closely with Xilinx Global Operations team – assessing and analyzing revenue and top program forecasts, demand pipeline and forecast accuracy
  • Drive strategic sales initiatives and drive process improvements
  • Develop relationships with and become trusted advisor to WWG Sales, Marketing & Engineering leaderships

  • Cross functional collaboration skills to develop and foster strong relationships internally within BU - Sales, Marketing and Engineering Teams and externally with Operations and Finance Teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ability to implement analytical problem-solving techniques
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to summarize complex, detailed data to present to executive level staff
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of the semiconductor market
  • Ability to identify a customer’s key care-abouts and thus contribute to overall sales strategy and success
  • Willingness to keep learning

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the telecommunications market either wired or wireless
  • Knowledge of PLD’s is a strong asset

 Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience in Business Management, Operations, Sales
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of the semiconductor/telecommunications market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Location:

  • San Jose is preference although open for right candidate
