The successful candidate will have both depth and breadth in the related disciplines of achieving production release of large complex engineering programs that involve cross functional organizations, in the forms of Silicon, Packages, Boards, IPs, Software and Design Services. These disciplines include but are not limited to planning, feasibility study, design, verification, prototyping, implementation & integration, characterization, validation, yield, production, packaging, assembly and qualification, as well as organizational administrative programs. An engineering degree or demonstration of competency in several of these areas is required. Good understanding of technologies, technical development process and methodology are required. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills are a must.
BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline is required. 12+ years of program management experience in semiconductor experience with BS degree; less with MS degree;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Project …), Tracking tools (JIRA) and Confluence; Understanding of Program Management Methodology such as PMM and/or others are nice to have;
Organize and chair department and cross function team meetings,tracking progress, issues, action items, and report status at summary and detail levels.
Good problem-solving skills, when working on complex problems involving new or constantly changing parameters and unexpected challenges.
Exercise outstanding initiative, judgment and decision-making ability in dealing with complex factors that are not easily evaluated for which there is little precedent on how to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to problems;
Work with the team to complete projects on schedule and will succeed when receiving general guidance on new assignments.
Ability to provide priority and reminders to task owners, as well as guidance to lower level or new hire personnel.
Prior engineering design and development experience is a bonus;
Ability to learn on the job;
Outstanding presentation skills, both oral and written are a must
