The Senior Manager,
Tax Operations will work collaboratively with global members of the Tax
Department while leading the preparation of the Company’s quarterly and annual
tax provisions. This position will also
participate in the efforts to file the Company’s US federal and state income tax
returns. This is a highly visible role with
direct contact with the VP of Tax and the Company’s CFO. The Senior Manager will team with other
members of the Tax Department by providing leadership, training, and
solution-based ideas to increase department efficiency and shareholder value.
review and/or prepare portions of the annual and quarterly worldwide tax
provisions in accordance with ASC 740 with emphasis on:
- Income tax reserves,
international calculations like GILTI, FDII and BEAT,
for M&A transactions,
allowance assessments, and
footnotes and related disclosures.
technical research related to the tax effects of various business transactions
as well as to the effects of proposed and newly enacted legislation, court
compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, including an annual review of controls and support
of control testing.
- Lead in the
development and implementation of initiatives to increase overall efficiency of
the tax provision process.
prepare and/or review portions of the US federal and state tax returns.
- Participate in
special projects both domestic and international in nature.
- Provide US federal and/or
state audit support.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or related),
CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation.
Experience: 10-15 years of combined public accounting and
industry experience in corporate income tax at a US multinational company, 5
plus years of direct report employee management experience.
Key Technical Areas/Personal Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting,
including specific emphasis on all pronouncements related to the reporting of
income taxes pursuant to ASC 740.
- Sound technical knowledge and
practical experience dealing with a wide range of domestic and international
tax accounting issues.
- Solid knowledge of US federal tax law and
excellent project management skills, taking ownership/initiative and executing
with a high level of attention to detail.

Alteryx, Oracle, Excel).
communication and interpersonal skills.
strong analytical thinking and has experience applying these skills to resolve
operational tax issues.
