The Product Marketing Engineer position is in the Software and AI marketing group, located in San Jose (California) or Longmont (Colorado), for an expert marketing engineer to focus on scaling technical expertise and driving product requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, the Xilinx field, market segment architects and R&D to enable the next generation of designs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive successful adoption of Xilinx Vivado tools with customers
  • Drive the evolution of tools and features related to the Xilinx Vivado tools by collaborating with engineering and helping drive tool features.
  • Drive best of class development flows and methodologies for the Vivado Design Suite
  • Represent the needs of end-users, evaluate market trends and competition, and uses this information to determine what features to build
  • Support high-profile engagements to success, including Design entry flows, Interactive Design environments and IP integration

 

  • Job Requirements:
    • 3+ years of industry experience with Xilinx Design Tools with atleast 1 year in a field facing role
    • Customer Awareness: Has excellent working knowledge of RTL-based design flows and expectations.
    • Product Knowledge: Has excellent working knowledge of the entire FPGA or ASIC design process and tool flow, with expertise in Vivado tools
    • Problem Solving: Ability to handle and solve complex system level issues, internally and with tier-1 customers.
    • Technical Communication: Can simplify and communicate even the most complex subjects, making options, tradeoffs, and impact clear.
    • Experience defining market requirements and involvement in product planning a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentations skills, and the ability to work with multiple groups.

 

 Job Requirements:
