The Xilinx Global Security Operations Manager will be responsible for protecting Xilinx global assets and interests which include personnel, property/operations, products, brand and intellectual property (IP).

 

This position reports to the Direction of Xilinx Global Security Director.

This candidate will require little oversight.

 

Must be comfortable with overseas travel.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Knowledge of security best practices, as developed through a minimum of six years of progressive experience in the security industry, three of which must be in a management role
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise for physical security, electronic security systems, security operations centers, and guard force management
  • Analyze security exposures and implement cost effective passive, reactive, and proactive programs to address these exposures
  • Provide guidance and support to site and subsidiary security operations ensuring that Xilinx Global Security standards, policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
  • Effectively communicate Global Security strategy, project goals and security awareness to large employee populations and senior managers, both written and verbally
  • Create, maintain and align contracted guard force Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Post Orders
  • Capable of managing and developing staff and creating a positive work environment for a multi-cultural multi-national team
  • Development and maintenance of annual operating budgets, efficient management of costs and contracts with 3rd party vendors
  • Maintain incident reporting database & measurements for the enterprise
  • Maintain close liaison with government, industry, security, and intelligence professionals in support of Global Security goals
  • Participate in a highly motivated team focused on proactive security measures including but not limited to continual site assessments of physical security measures and technology use
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, MAC addresses), cyber security attacks and mitigations
  • Experience working with access control systems, intrusion systems, and IP based video management systems
  • Provide support as directed in the areas of investigation, executive protection, crisis management, site security surveys and risk assessment/risk analysis
  • Manage and be responsible for budgets and contracts with 3rd party vendors
  • Experience in event security management
  • Ability and willingness to be on call 24/7 to respond to company-related security emergencies
  • IT experience and understanding of network infrastructure. Excellent knowledge of Excel, Access, Word and Windows.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent – e.g. Associate’s Degree and at least 6 years of experience) is required
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, CISSP) in an area relevant to this position are preferred
  • 3+ years of military or law enforcement experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and willingness to work during extreme weather and in extreme conditions
  • Ability to work in potentially stressful 
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel may be required
