The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

 

  • Strong C/C++, BASH, Python programming and debugging skills.
  • Experience or coursework with Embedded systems and Linux kernel/driver development for multi-processor heterogeneous systems.
  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system internals, kernel module, networking development
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Knowledge of interface between hardware and software
  • Experience with the Yocto Project or PetaLinux is a plus.
  • Experience with source control (Git)
  • Collaborates with the software test and applications teams to ensure adequate test coverage for assigned features

Education Requirements
  • Bachelors in CS, EE or Software-related fields with 2 years of experience or
  • Masters in CS, EE or Software-related fields with 0-2 years of experience
