You will be helping Xilinx automate testing of the GUIs for multiple products. This job entails using a combination of internal technology and industry standard tools for automation. You will use both scripting and GUIs to create regression tests.

Some of the specific tasks that are a part of this job include:

  • Organize testing requirements to create minimum number of required tests. 

  • Create tests to be used in ongoing automation. 

  • Analyze bug reports to determine feasibility and priority of test creation. 


12 months, part-time (20 hours per week)

Education Requirements 

3rd- or 4th-year Undergraduate or Graduate Student in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science

  • Experience using a scripting language (Tcl or Python preferred)

  • Experience using programming languages (C, C++, OpenCL preferred)

  • Experience with Xilinx Vivado (desired but not required)

  • Experience with Eclipse based GUIs

  • User-level experience with Linux and Windows

  • Self-driven and goal-oriented to provide project deliverables on schedule

  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
