Xilinx is evolving our digital transformation strategy through
technology. We are looking for interns interested in emerging technology to
work on pilots or projects in one of these area - Big data, IOT/Edge Computing,
Machine Learning and AI, AR/VR, Robotic Process Automation, Hardware
acceleration and more.
This is an excellent opportunity to participate and learn in some
of the most rapidly growing deep tech domains today, making internship at
Xilinx very compelling.
In this position, you will leverage your analytical mindset and software / hardware knowledge to drive, code and complete assigned scope for defined use cases. You are expected to work on pilots that lead to an MVP or Minimum Viable Product.
To help you succeed, we have a mentoring cum buddy system. This is how it will work:
- You will be buddied with a Senior IT person who will guide you through the process.
- You will learn a technology through online resources and training materials, or through hands-on.
- You will have exposure to a deep tech that Xilinx IT is working on in the duration of your internship.
- As part of internship requirement, you will learn how to document functional/technical requirements and design following SDLC process.
- You will conduct training and handover of the completed application at the end of the internship.
Xilinx will be responsible to coach and guide you on foundational competencies to help you grow professionally. You will be required to mingle with IT peers and get opportunities to attend meetings relevant to the project.
We require the candidate to have these minimum requirements:
Relevant training in disciplines from the School of Engineering or School of Computing (Degree)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimum direction.
High sense of ownership, urgency and drive.
Organizational and coordination skills along with multitasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure or Interest in any of these areas – Business Intelligence, Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence. Specifically, with aptitude and versatility to skill up in new frontiers related to Internet of Things, Smart Factories, etc.\An intuitive problem solver who can see the big picture, who recognizes that the landscape is constantly changing, and who realize it is his/her responsibility to keep up.
Good Teamwork with skills relating to Agile, Scrum, HW-SW co-design.
