This is an exciting opportunity to join the Xilinx Finance team as we continue to grow our business through data-driven forecasts and insights.

 

This Senior Financial Analyst position will provide extensive business partnering to companywide R&D and marketing team to drive analysis needed for senior executives. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of activities in support of business decisions and management reporting.

 

In this role, you will manage program level development cost, build models and provide analysis to assist in management’s decision making, be responsible for partnering with senior leaders and drive consistent process across whole Xilinx.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Measure engineering program level performance including ROI, NPV, PI and other financial metrics to assist engineering management in measuring operational performance and prioritizing investments
  • Work with senior engineering management to drive monthly/semi-annual engineering program headcount survey to collect labor investments for various engineering programs
  • Comfortably managing Access database consisting 20 years span of revenue, COGS, R&D expenses data at program level and drive process improvements on labor survey and ROI roll up
  • Own cross charging system design and labor survey system design across multiple BU and engineering functions
  • Partnering with cross functional teams to drive business insights on OPEX spending by projects and skillsets. Develop model to measure and report the operational metrics and perform meaningful analysis to assist management’s decision making
  • Detail oriented and highly analytical to translate data and trends into powerful strategies and compelling messaging.
  • Support and partner on continual process and procedure improvements, including documentation.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or engineering field
  • 3+ years practical work experience in finance, accounting, consulting or engineering
  • Strong problem solving & analysis, business acumen, teamwork and communication skills are expected
  • Experience in Semiconductor industry is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its analytical toolkits is a must
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access and Oracle OBIEE are highly desirable  
  • Hands on experience with Oracle ERP and SmartView is highly desirable
