This role will work directly with strategic datacenter customer and support the sales team with a strong focus on Technical Program Management. Interactions with both customer engineering teams and internal R&D teams will be required, and the successful candidate will have strong leadership experience. Ability to self motivate and drive issues to closure.

 

The individual will work directly with strategic customers responsible for program management including:

  • Program management responsibilities for oversight and success
  • Coordinate end-customer deliverable alignment with Xilinx deliverables
  • Negotiate schedules and feature requirements for program milestones
  • Track overall program progress and escalate issues on an as needed basis
  • Represent customer needs during internal solution reviews as the ‘voice of the customer’
  • Ensure Xilinx teams are aligned and positioned for success

As a supporting member of the Sales Team his individual will work with Global Account Managers (GAM) and Technical Sales Engineers (TSE) on the following pre and post-sales responsibilities:

  • Customer technical proposals and TCO analysis
  • Working with Datacenter System Architects, TSE and Account FAE
  • Working with 3rd parties for IP and/or turnkey solutions (Inclusive of SoW when relevant)
  • Working with GAM/TSE, Markets and Business Operations on pricing strategy
  • Drive Alignment with Markets
  • Reporting interface to Markets (Revenue forecast/trendline, Revenue acceleration, Design opportunities…) 
  • TSE escalation point
  • NDA, Agreements
  • Delivery issues with part
  • SCD, PCN, Samples
  • Field failures and factory escalations
  • Driving/Coordinating Revenue Acceleration activities with Customer

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field with minimum 3+ years’ experience within Semiconductor industry supporting customers; MS preferred
  • Technical Program Management experience reporting on Schedules, Risks, Dependencies, and Escalations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IC Design overall process, EDA software tool development, Cloud deployment models, Datacenter system architecture
