Xilinx is searching for an Associate Integration Lead for Mergers & Acquisition Integration who will help drive company-wide preparation for and execution of merger and acquisition integration projects across the company, including managing successful execution of target company functional integration and achievement of required cost and revenue-generating synergies.

 

This individual will work with the Xilinx Corporate Development team, functional and cross-functional Xilinx teams, target/acquired company teams, as well as external advisors and partners. This position will report directly to the Head of M&A Integration, Corporate Development at Xilinx.
 
Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of integration strategy and planning and execution from business case development to execution and post-closing value capture, working closely with M&A deal leads.
  • Develop detailed integration plans and milestones in conjunction with functional business leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive day-to-day execution of the integration process, including leading cross-functional teams, managing weekly integration meetings and proactively driving issue resolution.
  • Present summary integration plans and report progress and key metrics to management.
  • Monitor and track transaction performance against value drivers, milestones and metrics.
  • Conduct post-mortems on deal and integration execution.
  • Assist in development and communication of integration process standards, best practices and guidelines; support the buildout of repeatable processes and tools for M&A integration.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years total work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Experience with/appreciation for project management discipline, project management tools and analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote and/or similar other tools for analyzing, organizing, tracking, reporting and communication of project status
  • Ability to develop and manage functional and cross-functional relationships
  • General can-do attitude to support variety of CorpDev team needs
  • Ability to effectively handle highly confidential and market sensitive information

Desired:

  • M&A integration, business operations, or corporate operations/consulting experience
  • Direct Project Management experience and/or training (e.g. PMI/PMP)
  • Familiarity with Project Management tools
  • Process improvement (e.g. Six Sigma Green Belt)
  • Semiconductor/related industry experience
