Role Responsibilities:

o   Develop and lead a marketing team to position Xilinx as the adaptable intelligence platform leader in Data Center market

o   Create a comprehensive strategy to win in the datacenter markets in alignment with the seven strategic workloads.

o   Manage an investment budget for all marketing activities and drive for the best ROMI to meet an aggressive sales target

o   Develop cohesive outbound and inbound co-marketing GTM campaigns with strategic ISVs

o   Create and lead Xilinx positioning, outbound messaging, and PR strategies to achieve ecosystem brand awareness

o   Develop, define and drive Xilinx and key eco system partner marketing story -  messaging and positioning the partnership for long term win win strategy.

o   Drive executive presentations and platform messaging, and support key technical campaigns and presentations

o   Develop a digital strategy including Xilinx.com, Xilinx Forums and other communities; define and create a world class customer experience specifically geared towards software application developers

o   Market positioning, brand strategy and digital strategy expertise in complex technology markets, preferably semiconductors

o   Strategic and relentless focus on ROI and relevant marketing metrics

o   Proven organizational leadership and change management track record

o   Effective cross-functional collaboration skills particularly with Product & Vertical Marketing, Market Development, and R&D

Required Experience:

o   Solid understanding of Data Center (Compute, Storage, Network) market knowledge and trends

o   Leadership of web/digital strategy with demonstrated high-quality results

o   Demonstrated success in leading large scale BU positioning or re-positioning campaigns and major product launches -- including primary research and brand studies, market and target customer segmentation, strategy development, and driving effective execution

o   Knowledge and track record of results in one or more of Xilinx targeted segments

o   Track record of success in developing and prioritizing marketing activities to meet aggressive sales targets

 

 

Desired/Preferred Experience:

o   Experience in Data Center market, AI/Machine Learning, and cloud providers/hyperscalers

o   Experience with complex channel marketing to broad base of customers and prospects

o   Experience leveraging and working with 3rd party ecosystems to project Xilinx’s leadership

 

Education:

BSEE or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of work experience (strong preference for a technical background – HW/SW background)
