This intern will be responsible for managing the Data Center lab. The lab has servers, Alveo boards, switches and testers. The lab is shared with many people from different Geos.

 

Responsibilities include the following: 

  1. Program, and test various PCIe boards in the servers and make sure they are functional
  2. Install drivers, and software on the servers to work with these boards
  3. Setup connections for servers and boards for people who need remote access
  4. Debug basic board level issues if a board doesn’t come up
  5. Manage the time sharing from various people who need access
  6. Take inventory of the materials in the lab
  7. Help out FAEs on lab related issues
 
 

Education Requirements

 

Currently enrolled in an accredited University Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related Undergraduate or Master's Degree Program

 

Qualifications

  1. Must know Xilinx tools to program, bring up and test boards
  2. Understand Linux, how to run diagnostics to debug issues
  3. Very basic hardware knowledge, such as PCIe, power, Networking, etc.
