As an experienced professional with a passion for delivering world-class web experiences, you will take ownership of and define a comprehensive strategy for Xilinx’s web information/content architecture, search engine optimization (SEO), site traffic and engagement, and conversion optimization. A business leader who understands how to leverage the web as a customer engagement, education, and sales channel, you will integrate web with other demand initiatives and marketing campaigns, to provide an end-to-end digital experience that delights customers and drives the buyer journey. Partnering with stakeholders from across the business, and managing a team of Web professionals, you will create a vision for how the web can help us achieve our goals, define the desired end state, identify technology needs, and align teams to deliver their best work. Reporting to the VP of Corporate & Marketing Communications, you will lead a team of the web design & development, content, and analytics professionals.


The focus of this position is to lead the thinking and deliverables on role-based web experience journeys, define web technology and functionality priorities, and optimize web performance across all stages of the pipeline-to-retention journey. You and your team will also optimize our site experience and performance to effectively tell the Xilinx story, create a unified and consistent experience across channels, and enable our various customer audiences to find the information and products they need. Success will depend on ability to synthesize short term business needs with long term digital strategy and execute in partnership with the Product Marketing, Sales and Vertical Marketing teams.

·   Build deep Role-based Persona Experience Requirements profiles, define and drive execution of user journeys, supporting role-based personas, sales segments and industries

·    Partner with Product and Core Vertical Marketing teams on web strategy for their area of responsibility

·    Work closely with cross-functional groups spanning global demand generation, digital marketing, customer success, sales, services and other business unit teams to optimize our requirements and priorities

·    Establish metrics and analyze results to make journey and web experience optimization decisions and show impact on business objectives

·    Consistently drive the business’ priorities with the various teams responsible for executing journeys, infrastructure, analytics, and optimization

·    Develop a center of excellence educating teams and stakeholders on best practices (regardless of platform) for engagement, publishing, copywriting, analytics, Web processes, etc.

·    Oversee the Web infrastructure (CMS, application integrations, environments) to ensure stability and scalability while increasing capabilities to meet business and customer needs

·    Ensure Web data and analytics are collected to appropriately inform decision making for mitigating risks, resolving issues and reporting performance.

·    Serve as the business leader for Xilinx web properties, with responsibility for defining and implementing web strategy in alignment with Xilinx’s growth strategy

·    Provide leadership to optimize Xilinx web properties, creating a consistent and customer-centric user experience that tells the Xilinx story, enables visitors of all types to easily find information and products they need, optimizes conversions

·    Manage Xilinx’s SEO strategy, work closely with stakeholders in the Marketing team to optimize SEO program performance, and continually evolve SEO efforts to keep up with the latest trends

·    Conduct a yearly SEO technical and business audit on the site to identify areas for improvement and further optimization

·    Work with internal stakeholders to develop content and structure as well as defining strategic plan for new webpages, web applications and other web properties

·    Oversee the management of all content and technical updates to Xilinx web properties

·    Coordinate with stakeholders across Demand Gen, Marketing, Brand and Communications to align web activity with broader campaign initiatives; collaborate with campaign stakeholders to set up digital campaign assets such as landing pages, content and forms;

·    Analyze site traffic, pathing trends, engagement and other metrics to define improvements to Xilinx’s online presence and optimize marketing spend

·    Maximize website performance including but not limited to site traffic, SEO, content curation, personalization, conversion and UX

·    Work with the brand team and web designers to define, develop, design and improve user experience across all Xilinx’s web properties

·    Evaluate and define the use of new and innovative web technologies and functionalities

·    Regularly report on key web metrics and performance (e.g. site traffic, SEO, engagement, conversion rates), analyzing data to define improvements to Xilinx’s online presence and optimize marketing spend

·    Recruit, retain, lead and motivate a team of talented professionals; orient, train, assign, schedule, and coach employees, identifying work process improvements and achieving highest standards of work quality and timeliness

·    Build and leverage strong cross-functional business relationships to effectively execute strategies and lead broad initiatives

Skills You Will Need Here

·   10+ years web management experience, with demonstrated success optimizing websites for brand and demand creation objectives

·    Clear record of building and leading high performing web teams

·    Experience in developing short and long term strategic plans, with ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and tactical execution

·    Proven track record working within large, complex organizations to plan and manage delivery of web properties on time and within budget

·    Experience developing user experiences for various personas and buyer journeys

·    Knowledge of web strategies used in B2B and B2C environments to drive customer engagement and conversions

·    Technical understanding of Search Engine Optimization

·    Working knowledge of UX strategies used to optimize visitor experience to websites

·    Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills, proven ability to form strong cross-functional relationships with varying business partners; ability to manage differing points of views across broad sets of stakeholders and influence an appropriate solution

·    Lead change and work with and inspire a broad range of individuals towards one common goal

·    Advanced experience with reporting tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
