The Director of Executive Communications & Content will create world-class content, conveying the unique value proposition of Xilinx products and platforms to reach new customers and partners. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with senior executives and internal stakeholders to create and/or curate the most compelling stories and narratives. He/she will manage external executive communications for select executives, build the speaker’s bureau, establish a Voice of the Customer program, perform general writing and editing, and create and manage content that brings the Xilinx brand narrative to life.

 

  • Work with select senior executives to create their communications platforms and thought leadership position on areas of key strategic significance to Xilinx
  • Establish speaker’s bureau, identify and coach internal subject matter experts, manage the creation of presentations and speaker placement at strategic events
  • Create a steady stream of primary and derivative asset types that can be leveraged across various channels and use cases including but not limited to powerpoint presentations, blog posts, contributed articles, speeches and digital content
  • Establish and build out our customer case study and testimonial program, working closely with marketing operations and sales to create video and print testimonials in support of Xilinx products and platforms
  • Edit and review various written content for flow and accuracy; ensure consistency with corporate brand guidelines
  • Manage and update the corporate presentation, ensuring content remains compelling and up-to-date
  • Understand and leverage industry trends, the corporate brand and product value propositions to ensure content quality and relevance in content creation
  • Engage and collaborate cross-functionally as needed to support content ideation, creation, activation and measurement requirements
  • Create and maintain a content repository, including a presentations library, to leverage and reuse content as appropriate
  • Participate in finding, hiring and managing content marketing agencies, consultants or freelancers, including writers, editors, video and interactive content producers, and SEO professionals, as needed

Qualifications

  • 10 – 12 years of experience in Executive Communications and/or content creation for a high-tech company, preferably in the semiconductor industry
  • Well-defined track record both as a talented storyteller AND as a relationship-building project manager
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, storytelling, and content creation
  • Ability to work with colleagues at all levels of the company and to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Proven experience creating and executing strategic communications plans
  • Solution-oriented, strategic thinker and communicator
  • Strong leadership and management skills, experience with change management helpful

·       Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·       Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience

·       Strong analytical skills
