The Channel Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will play a crucial role with respect to revenue growth objectives by working independently with our channel partners and our internal sales, business, and operations teams.




  • Design Registration (Opportunity) Management: validate design registration requests and proactively take required action with the distributor to resolve discrepancies. Then approve.
  • Quoting: Work with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to propose appropriate pricing and communicate pricing with the distributor.  Validate quote requests (Budgetary and Production), approve to be sent back to distributor sales or to the Business Operations team.
  • Support Xilinx RSM when official requests are received and consult with them regarding relevant history and perspective. Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple contacts and own resolution on various topics e.g. manufacturing dates, ship dates, availability, pricing… Always keeping the RSM informed.
  • Revenue research, reconciliation, allocation, reporting.
  • Inform and involve RSMs with existing or perceived potential “Roadblocks”, propose solutions for the same.
  • Provide and analyze reports, provide insight and perspective.
  • Establish & foster relationships with key people within the region, and the factory, in order to maximize efficiencies around daily business processes and operations.
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews and Distributor branch visits.
  • Use the Siebel CRM system to perform ISR functions e.g. Quoting, Design Registration managements, revenue allocation, reporting.
  • Use reporting tools to build reports and dashboards to support the Channel Sales organization.




  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance preferred)
  • 3+ years in Sales Operations, Inside Sales
  • Able to identify system and process redundancies and inhibitors; proposes solutions to the same.
  • Collaborate with Sales and participate in customer discovery, research and planning.
  • Process and analyze data in Excel using advanced features such as Vlookup, Pivot tables to build charts and summarize data for business consumption.
  • Effectively communicate a problem statement and propose a solution (with reasoning).
  • Ability to document a sales process, end to end.
  • Confident communicator (written, live, phone) with proper business etiquette.
  • Strong user of business systems, able to adopt new systems quickly.
  • Working knowledge of business reporting tools.
  • Experience with and conceptually understands sales methodology and processes.
  • Ability to assemble and present a PowerPoint presentation to peers
  • Very strong when it comes to business system and analytical reporting tool usage, understanding of use models, data structure and general business work flow
