Xilinx is currently looking for a Test Engineer who will have an exciting opportunity to develop and implement efficient test solutions for the next generation of FPGA devices. The candidate will work closely with the development teams in IC Design, Tools Team, Product Verification Team, Product and Test teams at all geographical locations, to ensure timely delivery of robust test solutions.
Success in this position will require the candidate to be creative, highly organized and self-motivated.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Define, develop, implement, and support ATE test program solutions for the next generation of FPGAs
- ATE test program development includes test pattern conversion process, constructing or enhancing test methods, and integration of timings/levels and test flow into a test program.
- Develop innovative test methodologies to unleash Xilinx product capability in the data center, machine learning, and artificial intelligence fields while maintaining the highest level of product quality.
- Actively participate in cross function team including product test, pattern development, and IC design to efficiently debug any product failures and implement optimal solutions
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering
4+ years of relevant experience in IC Design, application or testing of VLSI
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following ATE platforms are essential: Advantest T2000, V93000 and Teradyne J750/Flex, as well as use of bench test equipment
Experienced with UNIX, and programming languages such as Python and/or C/C++
Good communication skills and works well in a group environment that spans across continents
Familiarity with FPGA designs using FPGA design tools and methodologies is a plus
Understanding of DFT insertion techniques including SCAN, ATPG, MBIST and LBIST
Knowledge of system testing/validation is a plus
