Your Role:

 

Reporting to the Director of Global Talent Development (GTD), the Training And Development Program Manager will work with GTD colleagues, HR business partners, and/or business leaders to plan and execute effective, engaging, and innovative programs, processes, and tools that meet our client’s learning and performance needs. Your initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail and quality will be essential to ensure your success in this position.


Key Areas of Responsibility

 

  • Support the strategic direction of the Global Talent Development function by promoting a culture of collaborative learning and knowledge sharing, and optimizing the user’s experience with our processes, tools, or consuming our content..
  • Use functional expertise with learning, talent, productivity, or collaborative technologies (such as Degreed, Taleo, SharePoint) in order to drive process and usability improvements, act as consultant on platform usage, deploy self-serve solutions to Xilinx employees, as well as recommend and execute creative solutions to achieve business goals.
  • Use functional expertise with learning systems to curate learning pathways, build complex learning plans, upload and test eLearning and associated surveys and assessments, administer instructor-led classes, enrollments, rosters, closings, and reporting.
  • Serve as a trainer/facilitator for GTD workshops, internal programs, or events (such as New Hire Orientation, Management Fundamentals, etc.) as needed.
  • Measure the impact of learning and development programs and services in relationship to key business goals and priorities
  • Effectively manage learning vendors by coordinating with the Xilinx Legal and Purchasing teams to create MSAs, SOWs, manage purchase orders, and process invoices for training programs and materials.
  • Support the marketing and communications for assigned programs and solutions, collaborating regularly with program stakeholders, management, and others as required.
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of proper quality oriented documentation for systems, tools, processes, and programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 7+ years of work experience in Talent Development Operations.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute program and project plans.
  • Knowledge of emerging learning and collaborative technologies and support systems.
  • Prior experience delivering instructor-led training.
  • Experience with implementing informal and social learning strongly desired.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment to meet aggressive timelines.
  • Analytical thinker who is detailed, organized, and systematic in problem solving.
  • Highly proficient at using learning, talent, collaborative, or productivity technologies such as Degreed, Taleo, SharePoint, and MS Office
