The primary goal for the position is leading Great China Data Center Team on architecting Account plan and Executing Growth strategy in association with field sales (GAM, RSM, TSE, FAE) for assigned data center accounts

  • Drive alignment on data center accounts strategy and execution with internal factory stakeholders
  • Ensure that the market strategy and account strategy are aligned
  • “One point of contact” for all Data Center account opportunities in progress.
    - Leading field sales to identify, track, qualify, monitor the risk , and support opportunities
  • “One Point of Contact” for all Customer Business Needs/Escalations
    - Enable field Sales to maximize customer facing activities
    - Provide alignment information to product management and strategic planning
    - Establish and host account reviews with executive management, product management, strategic planning and engineering
    - Support the account strategy plan by driving factory resources to ensure best efforts for success
    - Includes engineering, solution architects, CDC, etc.
  • Global Understanding of Customer – Opportunity/Platforms/Needs
    - Corporate and lead representative of Xilinx to key data center customers
    - Create and maintain diamond partnerships
    - Establish and drive the yearly calendar for all Diamond activities / meeting in conjunction with the field sales
  • Domain expertise in Compute, Networking and Storage segments
  • Possess system knowledge in existing and emerging Data Center trends in compute, storage, and networking platforms
  • Coupled tightly to architecture team members
  • Measured on revenue, key design win targets and strategic objectives

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years of engineering, business management/leadership or sales and marketing experience

 

Experience and Skills Required:

 

  • Technical competence in enterprise, data center application knowledge
  • Strong communication (listening, verbal and written) skills with an emphasis on technical presentation skills
  • Strong leadership, organization, planning, time management skills
  • Experience managing sales regions, sale teams and prioritizing opportunities
  • Top notch selling, negotiating, and business closing skills
