As a key member of the Xilinx engineering program management team you will be leading large cross-functional teams in detailed project planning and execution. As constant change characterizes cutting edge cross-functional development environments, you will be continuously adapting project plans to ensure that the projects you manage perform at the highest level. You will forecast risks and establish and track risk mitigation and contingency plans.
As an astute observer and evaluator of project efficiency you will be constantly looking for and driving improvements that will pull in schedules, enhance customer success and/or ease the workload for a high-performing development team. You will be the change agent that ensures that Xilinx remains in its leadership position both in technology as well as project management.
The primary spokesperson for your projects, you
will construct and deliver dynamic presentations to the executive team -- condensing
the multitude of details to the key issues executives care about most and
honestly evaluating performance to plan. At the hub of projects with a large,
diverse and multi-national developer base your communication and influencing skills
will be outstanding – building cohesion and bridging the miles and cultures
