             We are looking for a Senior NPI Planner and BOM Analyst who will be a part of the Program Management and Planning team (PMP team) under the NPI and A&D Ops group. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following activities:            

  •   Responsible for NPI and A&D supply chain planning and bill of materials creation and updates.
  •    Accountable to meet key performance metrics and to plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor the new product families.  Key deliverables are to meet critical customer commits, revenue targets and program milestones.

                 Work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules. 

                 Weekly analysis of supply and demand and generate weekly reports.

                 Work with cross-functional groups like Marketing, Test Ops and Engineering teams to ensure all pre-requisites are in place to achieve smooth supply from foundry, test and assembly for prompt demand fulfillment to support program roll out and customer deliveries.

                 Performs analysis to proactively identify potential shortages and drives expedites to close the gap.

                 Ensures enough capacity and raw materials are in place to meet all requirements within manufacturing cycle times.

                 Spear-head inventory control to ensure optimal usage of supply and performs analysis to proactively identify and minimize potential excess supply during the NPI product phase.

                 Drives continuous improvement of NPI and Bill-of-Materials systems & models.  Enhance existing tools or develop new tools that promotes productivity and cost reduction.

                 Bill of Materials ownership including creation/ amendment/ obsolete to ensure BOM readiness to support revenue and program milestones.

                 Bill of Materials system ownership from up-keeping to commissioning of new enhancements with support from external stakeholders.

  • Represents NPI/A&D Operations or BOM Management Group in key meetings

The successful incumbent should be/possess the following attributes:

  • Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Research or Bachelor of Science with more than 3 years of relevant experience
  • Must have strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong in Excel
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Able to work well with cross functional teams and in a matrix organization
  • Pro-active, ability to multitask under dynamic conditions
  • A good team player
  • Strong understanding of the semiconductor supply chain and manufacturing flow is desired
  • Knowledge of SQL and Oracle is desired
